Job summary

Sedgman Pty Limited is seeking a Principal Comminution Consultant to Brisbane, leading the process team and serving as the authority on crushing and grinding circuit selection, sizing and performance. You will deliver projects from concept to detailed design with input from multi-discipline teams.

The candidate will have deep mining value chain understanding, energy-efficient flowsheet design, and proven leadership in an EPC/EPCM environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical / Metallurgy) required.
Minimum 12 years’ experience in a design/consultancy environment in a mineral processing capacity.

Responsibilities

Lead technical studies on comminution (crushing, SAG, ball mill and HPGR circuits) and Mine to Mill processes (drill & blast, flotation and leaching).
Provide comminution expertise across multiple projects, drive quality delivery and innovation, shape technical strategy with accountability for technical integrity, risk, standards and safety.
Provide technical governance for the process engineering output on projects comminution equipment.
Continuous improvement of standards, tools, processes and guidelines to improve efficiency and technical outcomes.
Provide effective leadership, coaching and mentoring to support and develop the team.
Actively collaborate and influence others through positive behaviours and demonstrating our Values in Action.
