Job summary

AusNet is seeking a Senior Commercial Manager in Melbourne to lead complex commercial processes on a major transmission infrastructure project. You will manage the head contract and key subcontract agreements, assess and develop contractual claims, and lead a small team handling contract administration and compliance.

Qualifications

• Degree and professional qualification related to law, commerce or engineering.
• 10+ years post graduate commercial and/or project management experience in large-scale infrastructure asset development/delivery.
• Experience managing contract processes including claims, notifications and KPI tracking.

Responsibilities

• Manage the head contract and key subcontract agreements, minimising risk and optimising commercial returns.
• Lead assessment and development of contractual claims with cross-functional inputs.
• Lead and develop a small team responsible for administration of the project head contract.
• Oversee upstream contractual obligations and ensure alignment with commercial requirements.
