Job summary

RFTN & Mechanical Air Pty Limited in Padstow, Sydney, is seeking a Senior Service & Maintenance Technician to work across a range of commercial sites. You’ll diagnose faults, perform planned and reactive maintenance, and repair HVAC systems including split systems, ducted and VRF/VRV units.

You’ll report to the Service Manager and collaborate with the Service Coordinator, sharing knowledge, documenting service work accurately and upholding safety and quality across busy sites.

Qualifications

• Current Australian driver’s licence and white card.
• Strong commercial HVAC service and maintenance experience.
• Experience with fault finding and diagnostics.
• Experience working on commercial air conditioning systems.
• Good understanding of preventative maintenance.
• Ability to complete service reports and job documentation.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Attend commercial sites to diagnose and rectify HVAC faults.
• Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance.
• Fault finding across various commercial HVAC systems.
• Service and repair split systems, package units, VRF/VRV, ducted systems.
• Provide practical solutions and feedback to clients and managers.
• Complete service reports and documentation accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment and safe practices.
