Job summary

MPAU Finance is seeking a Finance Analyst/Business Partner to support weekly to quarterly financial reporting, forecasting and workforce planning for a large-scale logistics network. You will deliver insightful analysis of financial and operational performance and provide commentary for senior stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires advanced Excel and financial modelling skills, with experience in operations or distribution settings and strong stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Minimum experience in Business Analyst, Commercial Analyst, Finance Business Partner or Management Accountant roles.
• Proficiency in advanced Excel and financial modelling is essential.
• Experience in operational, supply chain, logistics or distribution environments is advantageous.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills are required.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Operations, Workforce Planning and Finance teams to deliver weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting.
• Provide insightful analysis of financial and operational performance, identifying trends, risks and opportunities.
• Support forecasting, budgeting and labour planning processes across multiple cost centres.
• Deliver cost-to-serve and productivity analysis to support operational decision-making.
• Develop and standardise financial reporting for timely performance visibility.
• Prepare concise commentary on financial results and drivers for senior stakeholders.
• Monitor financial performance and communicate risks, variances and corrective actions.
• Support integrity, accuracy and governance of financial data and reporting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and operational performance initiatives.

Profile

• Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
• Experience supporting operational, supply chain, logistics, manufacturing or distribution environments will be highly regarded.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence and challenge constructively.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
