Job summary

EPAM Systems in Sydney, Australia seeks an experienced Systems/DevOps Engineer to design and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines across multi-data-centre, hybrid cloud environments. You will troubleshoot complex issues, write automation in Python/Bash, and collaborate with engineers and product managers to deliver reliable cloud solutions.

You will work with Azure and GCP services, including GKE, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Airflow, while following established escalation and communication standards

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of experience as Systems or DevOps Engineer or a combination of Networking and Development.
• Ability to read and understand code and write code samples to reproduce customer issues.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, CI, and CD processes.

Responsibilities

• System troubleshooting and problem solving across applications.
• Provide technical assistance and developer support as part of a global 24x7-support organization.
• Collaborate with engineers and product managers to improve the product and customer outcomes.
• Develop AI automation and processes to enable CI/CD for a complex distributed system.
• Support customers using Cloud Platform products (Azure and GCP) and APIs including GKE, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Apache Airflow.
• Follow notification and escalation procedures; adhere to communications standards for operational issues.
