Job summary

Hitech Asia Pacific is seeking three experienced Senior Software Engineers to support a major Federal Government cloud transformation initiative. You will design, develop and deploy secure cloud-native applications on AWS within Agile delivery teams, on a long-term contract through to June 2027 with the view to extend and a rewarding hourly rate.

Successful candidates will have strong experience in cloud-native development using Java, Python, Node.js or TypeScript, hands-on AWS services,

Qualifications

Experience building cloud-native apps using Java, Python, Node.js or TypeScript.
Hands-on AWS services, serverless architectures and containers.
Experience with IaC, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
Experience designing scalable, secure software in Agile.
AWS Developer / Solutions Architect certs highly regarded.

Responsibilities

Designing and developing cloud-native apps, APIs, microservices and integration services using AWS.
Building serverless and containerised solutions with Lambda, ECS, EKS and API Gateway.
Developing IaC solutions using Terraform, CloudFormation and AWS CDK.
Implementing CI/CD pipelines and automated testing and deployment across cloud.
Providing technical leadership and architecture input for complex cloud-based solutions.
