Kinetic IT is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to take ownership of the Microsoft 365 environment for a major enterprise customer in Australia. You will uplift service maturity, strengthen operational practices, and drive continuous improvement across Microsoft 365, Azure and AWS from an operational perspective.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in a similar senior cloud role.
• Experience managing M365, Azure and AWS.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and customer-facing skills.
• Experience coordinating with multiple service providers.

Responsibilities

• Own the Microsoft 365 environment, uplift service maturity and performance.
• Identify opportunities to improve platform stability, security, and efficiency.
• Establish operational processes, documentation and service management.
• Engage stakeholders to translate business needs into cloud solutions.
• Collaborate with other providers to coordinate activities and ensure continuity.
• Lead incident resolution and root-cause analysis.
• Maintain security controls and compliance across cloud environments.
• Monitor service health and performance, addressing issues proactively.
• Identify automation opportunities to streamline delivery.
• Provide technical leadership and solution design guidance.
• Maintain accurate documentation and knowledge articles.
• Stay updated on cloud technologies and best practices.
