Job summary

Corpshore Australia is seeking a senior DevOps/Cloud Engineer to own end-to-end CI/CD pipelines and write infrastructure as code, provisioning cloud environments across AWS, Azure or GCP. You will lead incident response, mentor engineers and drive security hygiene.

This remote-first role is based in Australia, with overlap to AEST for standups and client calls, and a focus on governance and cost optimization in client environments.

Qualifications

• At least six years in software engineering with cloud infrastructure and DevOps.
• Hands-on infrastructure as code experience, ideally Terraform.
• Real CI/CD pipeline ownership, not just participation.
• Container orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong scripting in Python or Bash for automation.
• Incident response discipline and ability to document outcomes.
• Ability to mentor without micromanaging.

Responsibilities

• Own CI/CD pipelines end to end for client platforms, building and maintaining automation.
• Write and maintain infrastructure as code, principally Terraform.
• Provision and manage cloud environments across AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Design monitoring, alerting, capacity and cost reviews; lead incident response.
• Mentor less senior engineers and review changes for quality and security.
• Own security hygiene, including patching cadence and credential rotation.
• Contribute to governance conversations and translate infra changes for non-engineers.
