Job summary

CareCone Group is seeking a senior DevOps/Platform Engineer in Sydney to drive cloud infrastructure, CI/CD automation, and platform reliability. You will collaborate with Engineering, QA, Operations, Security, and Architecture teams to deliver scalable, compliant deployments across environments.

The role requires 9+ years in DevOps or related fields, strong AWS experience, and hands-on expertise with GitLab SaaS, Terraform, and Ansible.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or SRE.
• Hands-on with AWS cloud services (EC2, ECS/EKS, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS/Aurora).
• Strong expertise in GitLab SaaS, CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, and release orchestration.
• Experience with Terraform and Ansible for IaC and configuration management.
• Proficient in Linux administration and Bash/Python scripting.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and support AWS cloud infrastructure for Calypso platform.
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab SaaS for automated deployments across environments.
• Migrate workloads from on-premise to AWS cloud platforms.
• Implement and maintain IaC using Terraform and Ansible.
