Job summary

ASIS is seeking a Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer to lead the migration of workloads to AWS and support cloud adoption across delivery teams.

You will design and maintain foundational cloud products, embed DevOps practices, and collaborate with architects, cyber security and IT services to meet government requirements.

Five years of relevant experience and eligibility for TOP SECRET-Privileged Access clearance are required.

Qualifications

5+ years in senior DevOps/Cloud roles.
Experience delivering production AWS environments.
Experience migrating workloads to AWS.
CI/CD pipelines and automation.
Security-focused engineering with gov standards.

Responsibilities

Assess, plan, design and migrate workloads to AWS.
Design, build and maintain cloud products (landing zones, IAM, container services).
Provide DevOps guidance and embed automation across teams.
Ensure cloud solutions meet Australian Government security requirements.
Collaborate with industry and government to mature cloud standards.
Champion cloud adoption and knowledge transfer.
