Job summary

CareCone Group is seeking a Cloud Architect/Engineer for a 12-month engagement in Canberra, ACT. The role requires designing and implementing cloud solutions on Azure, leading technical teams, and collaborating with stakeholders across dispersed groups to deliver secure, scalable systems.

The successful candidate will possess 5+ years in cloud implementation, 3+ years in architecture design for large enterprises, and Australian citizenship with Baseline clearance. AWS/GCP exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years implementing and managing cloud systems.
• 3+ years designing architectures for large, complex enterprise systems.
• Australian citizenship and Baseline clearance required.
• Experience with MS-Azure architecture and integration across apps and platforms.
• Ability to collaborate with dispersed teams in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with cross-functional teams to develop and manage enterprise cloud architectures.
• Provide impact analysis and technical guidance in design and development of project work aligned with WoG Standards.
• Demonstrate technical leadership across project and operational tasks.
• Oversee cloud integration with third‑party systems and ensure security and compliance.
