Job summary

CareCone Group is seeking a Cloud Architect/Engineer for a 12-month engagement in Canberra, ACT. The role requires designing and implementing cloud solutions on Azure, leading technical teams, and collaborating with stakeholders across dispersed groups to deliver secure, scalable systems.

The successful candidate will possess 5+ years in cloud implementation, 3+ years in architecture design for large enterprises, and Australian citizenship with Baseline clearance. AWS/GCP exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

Hello Professionals ! We are looking for an "Cloud Architect / Cloud Engineer " for one of our Federal Client based in Canberra, ACT.

Job Description:

• Cloud experience: Demonstrated experience in cloud-based solution implementation with technologies including: Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, Azure SQL, Azure Service Bus and Azure API Management Azure DevOps for code development, management, repositories, Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD deployments Microsoft Entra ID, Azure Key Vault, Azure Monitor and Application Insights Integrating cloud-based systems with third‑party systems, including Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM Azure networking, security and identity management capabilities including Virtual Networks, Private Endpoints and Role Based Access Control
• Cultural fit: Ability to work with geographically dispersed teams Ability to work with technical and non-technical staff at all levels. Ability to collaborate and mentor team members to promote team harmony
• Agile: Experience working with Agile Multi-disciplinary teams to deliver secure, user friendly and reliable solutions that meet stakeholder, citizen, and business expectations. Ability to pragmatically change direction and scope as new information is discovered and challenges or opportunities present themselves
• Technical Skills: Demonstrated experience 5yrs+ implementing and managing cloud systems and technologies. The Cloud Architect/Engineer will: Liaise with cross-functional teams to develop and manage enterprise and application-level architectures for MS-Azure. Provide impact analysis and technical guidance in design and development of project work aligned with WoG Standards
• Demonstrated track record of technical leadership across project and operational tasks
• Demonstrated experience and understanding of cloud-based technologies and architectures
• Demonstrated experience in application and integration, or infrastructure platform architecture.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience designing and documenting architectures for large, complex enterprise systems. Experience with AWS and/or GCP is desirable but not essential.
