Job summary

Data#3 is seeking experienced Senior Cloud Architects / Cloud Engineers to support a range of ICT projects within a large Australian Government environment. The role focuses on Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365, with architecture and hands-on delivery across governance, security and scalability.

The role offers an initial 12-month contract with two 12-month extension options and a remote/Canberra work arrangement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years designing and delivering cloud solutions.
• Experience with Azure across enterprise environments.
• Experience aligning cloud solutions with government standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop enterprise cloud platform architectures across Azure and Microsoft 365.
• Produce high-level solution architectures for cloud-based systems.
• Provide architectural guidance to delivery teams.
• Ensure cloud solutions meet government standards and security.
• Collaborate with owners, Scrum Masters, BAs, developers, testers.
• Promote reuse over build/buy and IaC practices.
• Mentor and lead delivery activities.
