Job summary

Connect One Recruitment seeks a Senior Cloud Architect / Cloud Engineer for a federal government contract. The role focuses on delivering Azure-based enterprise cloud solutions and mentoring technical teams. Remote work is available with Canberra/ACT preferred, 40 hours per week on a 12+24 month arrangement.

The candidate will design, implement and manage cloud services, with strong emphasis on Azure DevOps, CI/CD, and security controls across the cloud environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience implementing and managing cloud systems and technologies.
• Hands-on experience across Microsoft Azure services including App Services, Functions, Logic Apps, Azure SQL and API Management.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, IaC, CI/CD, Entra ID, Key Vault, monitoring and RBAC.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise-level cloud architectures using Microsoft Azure and M365.
• Provide technical guidance across design, development and secure cloud-based systems, including automation and IaC.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver solutions aligned with government standards.
