Job summary

Ignite is seeking a Senior Cloud AI Engineer to design, build, and optimise secure, scalable AI and cloud platforms within a large enterprise environment. You will influence cloud strategy and platform capability while delivering cutting-edge AI, ML and Generative AI initiatives.

• Strong experience with major cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).

Senior Cloud AI Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Cloud AI Engineer to play a key role in designing, building, and optimising secure, scalable AI and cloud platforms within a large and complex enterprise environment. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI, Machine Learning, and Generative AI initiatives while influencing cloud strategy and platform capability.

Responsabilities

• Design and implement secure-by-design cloud and AI platforms.
• Lead AI workload migrations, deployments, and operational support.
• Build and maintain scalable infrastructure supporting AI, ML and Generative AI services.
• Develop reusable Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions and automation pipelines.
• Collaborate with architecture, cyber security, data and engineering teams.
• Drive best practices across cloud governance, platform engineering and DevSecOps.
• Provide technical leadership, stakeholder engagement and mentoring

Key Skills & Experience

• Strong experience with Azure and/or AWS Cloud Platforms.
• Kubernetes, OpenShift and container platform expertise.
• Terraform, Ansible, Git, CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Python scripting and automation.
• AI/ML Engineering, MLOps and Generative AI technologies.
• Experience with APIs, enterprise integrations and cloud networking.
• Knowledge of security, governance and compliance frameworks.
• Strong problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skills
