Job summary

GEO Group in Ravenhall, Victoria, is seeking a Principal Clinician—Service Improvement & Outreach Support to lead advanced clinical practice across custody and community settings, including The Bridge Centre, Ravenhall and Fulham Correctional Centres. You will drive quality improvement, design reintegration programs, and strengthen throughcare.

This role requires full registration, at least two years of practice, and the ability to supervise multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Full registration as a Psychologist, Social Worker, Occupational Therapist, or Credentialed Mental Health Nurse under AHPRA/AASW.
• Minimum two years’ experience as a registered practitioner in clinical, correctional, or related settings.
• Strong understanding of What Works principles, the Good Lives Model (GLM), and Risk-Need-Responsivity (RNR) frameworks.
• Advanced clinical leadership, supervision of multi‑disciplinary staff, and expert advice on rehabilitation and reintegration strategies.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills with ability to interpret and utilise service data.
• Knowledge of justice-involved populations and reintegration challenges.
• Demonstrated ability to work across complex, multidisciplinary systems with cultural competence.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and oversight of service improvement across custody and community outreach.
• Develop, support, and monitor rehabilitation and reintegration programs.
• Collaborate with Throughcare Services to ensure integrated service delivery.
• Analyse service data, prepare reports on outcomes and engagement, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Provide supervision to outreach staff and coverage for clinical service delivery as required.
