Job summary

Planet Pharma is seeking a Senior Clinical Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex clinical trials from study start-up through close-out. This role offers the flexibility to work remotely within Australia and involves close collaboration with sponsors, sites and cross-functional teams.

You will own timelines and budgets, ensure regulatory and quality compliance, and drive risk management and operational excellence across therapeutic areas.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing clinical trials within CRO/pharma environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Health Sciences, Nursing, Pharmacy, or related field.
• Strong project management and organisational skills with multiple priorities.
• Excellent stakeholder management and client-facing communication.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams to timelines and budgets.
• Strong understanding of clinical trial conduct and regulatory requirements.
• Experience in early-phase clinical research and/or healthy volunteer studies is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational delivery of clinical trials from initiation through study close-out.
• Primary contact for sponsors, sites, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
• Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues.
• Ensure studies comply with applicable regulations and ICH-GCP guidelines.
• Coordinate stakeholders to drive successful project execution.
• Provide regular updates to sponsors and senior leadership.
• Support business growth through strong client relationship management.
