Job summary

Air Accounting is seeking an experienced senior relationship lead to manage a portfolio of business owners, coordinating between accounting, tax, bookkeeping and CFO teams to deliver value. You will nurture client partnerships, identify opportunities early, lead Year End Planning, and ensure timely sign-off while maintaining a seamless client experience.

Based in Australia, you will work with local and offshore teams, drive proactive advisory, and help clients grow while Air continues to invest

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience within an accounting firm, ideally across business services, advisory or a client-facing accounting role.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to independently establish and maintain relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Builds strong relationships with business owners and leads proactive conversations about their business.
• Identifies issues and opportunities early, connecting clients to Air's accounting, tax, bookkeeping and CFO teams.
• Leads changes in client needs and discusses additional services and fees.
• Leads Year End Planning and Engagement Reviews with portfolio meetings and client sign-off.
• Owns the client experience from induction, coordinating with Operations for a seamless service.
• Uses Air's systems to move commitments forward and reduce admin.
• Maintains portfolio oversight and delegates tasks within teams.
• Supports Sales in conversations with prospective clients and in events and partnerships.
