You will play a key role in managing claims across all lines of commercial insurance, combining strong technical expertise with commercial awareness and exceptional stakeholder management.

• Extensive commercial insurance claims experience.
• Strong understanding of policy coverage and wordings.
• Experience handling large-loss or multinational claims.

Responsibilities

• Providing expert claims advice across areas including Property, Casualty, Liability, Professional Risks, Financial Lines, Marine, Construction, Motor, and other specialist commercial classes.
• Reviewing coverage, policy wordings, claims circumstances, reserving, indemnity positions, and settlement strategies.
• Advocate for clients in discussions and negotiations with insurers, claims managers, loss adjusters, lawyers, and other stakeholders.
• Proactively monitor claims to ensure appropriate progress, communication, and resolution.
• Preparing claims reports, management information, and updates for clients and internal stakeholders.
• Contributing to claims advocacy strategies and broader client retention and relationship initiatives.

Play a key role in managing claims across all lines of commercial insurance This is a senior position suited to a claims professional who combines strong technical expertise with commercial awareness, exceptional stakeholder management, and a genuine commitment to achieving the best possible outcomes for clients

You will be:

• Providing expert claims advice across areas including Property, Casualty, Liability, Professional Risks, Financial Lines, Marine, Construction, Motor, and other specialist commercial classes
• Reviewing coverage, policy wordings, claims circumstances, reserving, indemnity positions, and settlement strategies
• An Advocate for clients in discussions and negotiations with insurers, claims managers, loss adjusters, lawyers, and other stakeholders
• Proactively monitor claims to ensure appropriate progress, communication, and resolution
• Preparing claims reports, management information, and updates for clients and internal stakeholders
• Contributing to claims advocacy strategies and broader client retention and relationship initiatives

Ideally you will have:

• Excellent understanding of policy coverage, wordings, liability, and claims processes
• Strong negotiation, influencing, and problem-solving skills
• Confidence engaging with senior clients and insurance market stakeholders
