Technical Resources in Gladstone is seeking a Lead Civil & Structural Engineer to join our team. This senior technical leadership role focuses on delivering sustaining capital, brownfield and greenfield projects across heavy industry and operating assets.

You will combine hands-on engineering expertise with client engagement, mentoring and project delivery responsibilities. You will lead civil and structural activities, oversee designs, perform calculations, and support concept through

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is required.
• Significant experience in Australian mining, energy, heavy industrial, process plant, ports or infrastructure projects is expected.
• Strong brownfields and operating plant experience is essential.
• Proven capability across structural steel, concrete and foundation design.
• Experience with structural analysis and modelling software including SpaceGass and Strand7 is preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing engineering teams and project deliverables.
• Chartered Engineer status and/or relevant professional registration (RPEQ, RPEV or equivalent) is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Lead civil and structural engineering activities across multiple projects.
• Provide technical oversight for structural steel, concrete, foundations, drainage and civil infrastructure designs.
• Deliver engineering calculations, reports, specifications and design reviews.
• Support project execution from concept through detailed design and construction support.
• Build client relationships and contribute to proposals and work-winning initiatives.
• Mentor engineers and designers across multidisciplinary teams.
• Participate in site visits, technical workshops and stakeholder meetings.
