Job summary

Ashdown People is seeking an experienced Project Manager for Civil Infrastructure & Construction in the Canberra/Queanbeyan region. You will lead a portfolio of civil and construction projects, including road works, sewer infrastructure, and mine remediation, delivering on-time and within budget.

The role requires hands-on delivery across multiple projects, strong stakeholder management, governance, and mentoring of junior team members, with engineering qualifications preferred but demonstrated

Qualifications

• Seasoned project professional with civil infrastructure delivery experience.
• Ability to manage multiple projects at different delivery stages.
• Hands-on operator who can work autonomously and make decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead portfolio of civil and construction projects including road works and sewer infrastructure.
• Coordinate with contractors, stakeholders, budgets and reporting.
• Balance site delivery with governance requirements and project administration.
• Mentor and support developing team members where required.
• Escalate issues when necessary and ensure delivery on time and budget.
