Job summary

My client is a long established family owned civil contractor delivering across NSW, now seeking an experienced Project Manager to take ownership of end to end delivery in Western Sydney. You will set the program, control the budget, lead the site and engineering team, and maintain alignment with clients, consultants and subcontractors while driving safety and quality across all works.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing civil projects end to end.
• Background in subdivision, roads or earthworks.
• Strong commercial acumen and program management capability.
• Ability to lead, develop and get the best from a delivery team.
• Excellent client and stakeholder management skills.
• Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or similar.

Responsibilities

• End to end delivery of civil projects on time, on budget and to specification.
• Leading and mentoring site and project engineering teams.
• Managing project programs, resources and subcontractor performance.
• Owning the commercial outcome, including budgets, forecasting and cost reporting.
• Managing client, consultant and stakeholder relationships.
• Driving a strong safety and quality culture across all works.
• Overseeing procurement, contract administration and progress claims.
