Job summary

Mack Civil Pty Ltd. is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead major civil infrastructure projects in Sydney. You will manage programs, budgets and resources, while ensuring TfNSW specifications and GC21 contract compliance.

You will mentor engineers and site supervisors and drive a culture of high performance. Candidates should have a minimum of 10 years' civil construction experience, exceptional leadership, and strong planning and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering TfNSW projects in a project manager capacity.
• Strong experience delivering projects under GC21 contract conditions.
• Demonstrated success delivering projects valued between $10M–$25M.
• Minimum 10 years experience in civil construction.
• Exceptional leadership and mentoring skills to develop high-performing teams.
• Excellent planning, budgeting, and risk management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all aspects of major civil infrastructure projects valued between $10M–$25M.
• Develop and oversee project programs, budgets, and resources, ensuring compliance with TfNSW specifications and GC21 contract requirements.
• Provide strong leadership to project teams, setting clear expectations, driving accountability, and fostering a high-performance culture.
• Mentor and guide engineers and site supervisors, building capability within the team.
• Coordinate and manage stakeholder engagement with TfNSW, councils, subcontractors, and community representatives.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, implementing proactive strategies to maintain program and cost objectives.
• Ensure all works meet WHS, environmental, and quality management standards.
