CGC Recruitment is seeking a Principal Civil Engineer to lead Brisbane's civil engineering team on urban development projects. You will own project delivery, mentor engineers, and contribute to business growth in a collaborative consultancy environment.

The role combines hands-on engineering, project leadership and business development, with opportunities to influence client outcomes and the local project portfolio. Queensland regulatory knowledge and RPEQ-aligned expertise are valued.

Formación

• Significant civil engineering experience in a consultancy environment.
• Strong background in urban development and civil infrastructure.
• Previous senior technical or leadership experience.
• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience managing projects from scoping to completion.
• RPEQ registration or Queensland market experience highly regarded.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and mentor a team of civil engineers and designers while upholding technical standards.
• Deliver urban development projects from scoping through to completion.
• Provide senior technical guidance and sign-off on designs.
• Manage project scope, budgets, programs, resources and deliverables.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships as a primary contact.
• Coordinate internal and external teams to ensure successful outcomes.
• Identify risks, variations and commercial considerations.
• Support tenders, fee proposals and business development.
• Develop the civil engineering team's capabilities and project portfolio.
