Thornton Engineering Aus in Corio, VIC seeks an experienced Civil Engineer for a permanent full-time role. You will perform layout and design calculations, prepare reports and drawings, and conduct field surveys to support civil projects.

Proficiency with CAD and strong teamwork are essential. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor of Civil Engineering (or equivalent), a Diploma/Advanced Diploma in Civil Construction Design, and ideally 4+ years of relevant experience in a civil

Qualifications

• Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Civil Construction Design or equivalent.
• Bachelor of Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience as a qualified Civil Engineer preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform calculations for layout and design.
• Prepare reports, maps, drawings, and plans.
• Conduct field surveys and provide accurate data for design activities.
• Use CAD programs for drawing and mapping.
• Draw maps, diagrams, and profiles with elevations and cross-sections.
• Review sketches and drawings to conform to design concepts.
• Communicate with construction or production teams.
