Job summary

pitt&sherry is seeking a Principal Civil & Drainage Engineer in Melbourne (or Sydney) to provide senior technical leadership on stormwater projects. You will steer complex hydrologic analyses, drainage design and project delivery across transport, energy and water sectors, mentoring the drainage team and coordinating across offices.

You will act as a trusted advisor on drainage challenges, shaping practical, buildable solutions and overseeing risk, budget and client relations to deliver

Qualifications

Substantial senior-level civil and drainage engineering experience across complex projects.
Technical capability in stormwater, hydrology and hydraulics with model experience.
Proven leadership in design delivery and client-facing engagements.

Responsibilities

Lead stormwater drainage projects from concept to delivery with accountability.
Direct hydrologic/hydraulic analysis and drainage design using models.
Mentor drainage team and drive capability development.
Collaborate across offices to deliver integrated drainage solutions.
Build client relationships and pursue new work and bids.
Drive continuous improvement in drainage methods and design assurance.
