Bl_nk is seeking a Lead Brand Designer to drive brand identity systems from strategy to execution. You will lead design development, work with the Creative Director, and present concepts to clients while mentoring junior designers.
The role emphasizes hands-on work across print and digital, developing scalable brand frameworks, and maintaining high creative standards across the studio.
About the role
This is a hands‑on design role. You’ll work alongside our Creative Director, leading the creative design development of brand identity systems and translating approved brand strategy into distinctive, considered and practical creative outcomes. You’ll still design. A lot. This is a role for someone who genuinely enjoys being in the work. Developing concepts. Interrogating ideas. Exploring different directions. Refining systems. And taking a brand from strategic thinking through to a beautifully resolved identity. You’ll work directly with clients where required, presenting concepts, reviewing concepts from other team members, explaining the thinking behind the work and confidently guiding creative conversations. Internally, you’ll also provide clear and considered feedback on design development, helping us maintain a consistently high creative standard across the studio.

About us
At Bl_nk, we work with established organisations that have grown, evolved and become more complex than their brand was originally designed to support. More services. More products. More audiences. More locations. More moving parts. Our job is to make sense of that complexity, find the clarity underneath it and build brands that help people understand what an organisation is, what makes it different and where it’s going.
We believe the strongest brands are built from understanding. We work with leadership teams, employees, stakeholders, customers and communities to understand what’s happening beneath the surface. By the time brand identity development begins, there should be a reason behind the decisions we’re making. Strategy creates the clarity. Design gives it form.
We’re a small team. Culture isn’t a paragraph somebody wrote for the careers page. It’s how we actually work together. We care about the quality of our work, but we also care about the experience and the environment we work within to support the creation of it. We want people around us who share ideas, ask questions, support each other and contribute to the work beyond whatever is sitting on their own desk.
