DRD Group is seeking a Senior Civil Design Engineer to join its team delivering renewable energy and resources infrastructure for a leading Tier 1 mining client in Australia. You will manage civil design from concept through to construction support, guiding multi-disciplinary interfaces and mentoring junior engineers.

The role requires a Bachelor of Civil Engineering, extensive experience in bulk earthworks, drainage, site development and roads, and proficiency in 12d or similar software.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and extensive design experience.
• Experience delivering detailed civil designs for large-scale projects.
• Proficiency with 12d or similar civil design software and strong communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Deliver detailed civil designs for bulk earthworks, roads, pads, hardstands and drainage.
• Review calculations, drawings, specifications and IFC packages.
• Mentor engineers and designers, identify risks and optimise design while balancing safety and costs.
• Coordinate interfaces with electrical, structural, geotechnical and other teams.
