Job summary

WSP in Sydney seeks a Senior Civil Engineer with strong design experience to lead the Property and Buildings group. You will oversee civil design from concept to construction, guide teams, and engage with clients to deliver landmark projects.

You will work on high-rise developments and infrastructure, mentoring junior engineers and collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure safety, quality and timely delivery, while advancing sustainable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor to Masters level degree in Civil Engineering.
• 6+ years industry experience in the Property and Building space.
• Excellent expertise in civil engineering and design documentation, including AS/NZS 3500 and NCC.
• Experience in Australian building civil projects within a consulting environment.

Responsibilities

• Scope and steer civil works from concept through detailed design and construction support.
• Coordinate inputs from roads, drainage, utilities and pavements.
• Be a trusted advisor to clients and partners, facilitating workshops and de‑risking decisions.
• Lead and deliver civil engineering projects from inception through construction.
• Mentor, train and develop junior engineers.
