Job summary

WSP in Sydney is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer specialising in Building Services. You will lead electrical design on single and multi-disciplinary projects, mentor junior engineers and drive delivery within time and budget constraints.

The role requires a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering, 7–10+ years’ Australian building services experience, strong client relationships, and solid knowledge of standards such as AS/NZS 3000 and NCC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Electrical Engineering required.
• 7–10+ years’ Australian building services experience.
• Strong client relationship management and project management skills.
• Sound knowledge of AS/NZS 3000 and NCC standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide electrical design leadership on single and multi-disciplinary projects across a range of sectors.
• Lead small to medium-sized engineering design projects and support larger, more complex projects to ensure delivery.
• Maintain clear communication with external clients, authorities, and internal teams to ensure alignment.
• Deliver best practices to save time and reduce costs without compromising quality.
• Build long-term client relationships and identify new business opportunities.
