Job summary

ANZUK Education is seeking a Centre Director to lead a high-quality Exceeding-rated Not-for-Profit Centre in Melbourne. You will steer educational programming, drive regulatory compliance, and nurture strong relationships with children, families and staff to deliver outstanding outcomes.

This role requires proven leadership in early childhood, a Bachelor in Early Childhood Education (preferred), and a commitment to child-centred practice.

Qualifications

• Previous leadership experience in an early childhood setting.
• Bachelor qualification in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of NQF, EYLF and Victorian early years sector.
• Proven experience leading, coaching, and developing teams.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong operational and financial management capability.
• Current VIT or Working with Children Check and Australian working rights.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of the service, ensuring quality and compliance.
• Build and maintain relationships with children, families, educators and the community.
• Coach and develop educators to achieve best practice outcomes.
• Support a culture of reflection, innovation and continuous improvement.
• Ensure the educational program aligns with the National Quality Framework.
• Collaborate with a network of Early Learning leaders.
• Drive service performance while maintaining educational outcomes.
