Job summary

Fortescue Metals Group is seeking a Contracts & Procurement Senior Specialist for Mobile Equipment and Decarbonisation Execution. You will provide senior procurement leadership to plan, develop, source and manage contracts, ensuring alignment with business objectives and Fortescue’s decarbonisation goals.

You will contribute to category strategy and drive strategic procurement activities supporting mobile equipment categories, with governance, risk management and end-to-end sourcing at the core

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Contract management: develop and apply processes and systems for optimal commercial benefit and minimal risk
• Lead supplier relationship management and deliver value from key relationships
• Category management and strategic sourcing aligned with Fortescue objectives and end-to-end sourcing
• Lead negotiation processes for high-risk/high-value contracts
• Apply critical thinking to optimise sourcing strategies and timelines
• Governance and risk management to meet objectives and manage risk
• Analyse and report procurement data across the mobile equipment lifecycle
• Partner with internal and external stakeholders to align procurement efforts with business needs
