Qualifications

• Experience in Category Management within an FMCG environment.
• Strong experience analysing category performance and range reviews.
• Understanding shopper behaviour, consumer trends and drivers of category growth.
• Proven supplier relationship management and negotiation.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Strategic mindset with ability to execute and deliver results.
• Proactive, autonomous and takes ownership.
• Proven ability to deliver measurable category growth.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement category plans to drive sales growth and margins.
• Manage product range reviews and pricing to optimise performance.
• Build and maintain supplier partnerships and conduct business reviews.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for promotional calendars.
• Drive new product development and manage innovation pipelines.
• Lead trade marketing activities including in-store activation strategies.
• Monitor market and competitor trends to identify growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with customers on joint business planning and growth initiatives.
• Prepare compelling commercial proposals and business cases for expansion.
• Utilise insights to influence decisions and improve outcomes.
