Job summary

CatholicCare NT is seeking an experienced practitioner in Darwin to provide assertive case management, education and support to families within the Children and Parenting and Community Mental Health programs.

The role emphasizes implementing program activities that promote child wellbeing, engage Indigenous communities and collaborate with partner agencies to deliver holistic services.

Qualifications

• Qualifications and relevant experience in the field.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills including report writing and case note writing.
• Demonstrated cultural competency, particularly in working with Indigenous people.
• Demonstrated experience in applying early intervention and prevention activities that support the wellbeing of children, young people and families.
• Demonstrated ability to network effectively with other agencies to support a community approach to wellbeing.

• Providing assertive case management, education and support to participants.
• Implementing and facilitating program activities and experiences to support families.
• Focusing on the wellbeing of children and assisting in program delivery.
