Job summary

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, measuring, cutting, and installing timber and related materials, maintaining tools, and mentoring junior carpenters.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of carpentry experience in building/construction.
• Proficient in carpentry techniques and methods.
• Able to read blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Strong safety and quality focus.
• Good communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures from wood, plywood, and wallboard.
• Read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications.
• Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials using hand/power tools.
• Ensure work complies with safety regulations and building codes.
• Collaborate with construction professionals to meet timelines and quality standards.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good condition and report issues.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior carpenters and apprentices.
