Job summary

Marna Care Pty is seeking an Aged Care Support Worker for our team in Woy Woy, NSW. You will deliver essential daily care, assist with personal tasks, meals, and mobility, and help maintain comfort and safety for our elderly clients.

Ideal candidates hold a Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent, and bring strong communication, empathy, and teamwork. WWCC, police check, and First Aid/CPR are required.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent qualification is required.
• Previous experience in aged care or similar role is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Compassionate and patient approach to care.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
• NDIS Working with Children’s Check (WWCC).
• NDIS Workers Screening Check.
• National Police Check.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication management.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive and encouraging environment.
• Monitor and report changes in clients’ health and well‑being to healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in clients’ conditions.
• Support clients in social and recreational activities to promote engagement and well‑being.
• Ensure a safe and clean living environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties.
