Zusammenfassung

SAHMRI in Adelaide, South Australia, seeks a Senior Capacity Building Coordinator to lead CHiAPRT capacity-building initiatives. This part-time, 12-month contract role will support programs strengthening research-policy translation, partnerships and impact.

You will collaborate with stakeholders across SA public sectors, universities and NGOs, coordinating training, resources and events, with oversight from the Director and Advisory Committee.

Qualifikationen

• Postgraduate qualification in a relevant discipline or a degree with significant relevant experience.
• Knowledge of, and experience working in, public health or social science.
• Understanding of social determinants of health and health equity.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience designing capacity-building activities (training programs, workshops).
• Strong facilitation skills for workshops, webinars and meetings.
• Experience preparing meeting papers and briefing reports.

Aufgaben

• Support the implementation of CHiAPRT’s strategic and annual work plans and reporting requirements.
• Develop and deliver an annual capacity-building program with the Director and Advisory Committee.
• Coordinate the CHiAPRT Research Policy Translation Community of Practice and engagement plans.
• Design and deliver training, workshops, masterclasses and learning activities aligned with CHiAPRT priorities.
• Develop curriculum and educational resources including manuals, webinars, videos and podcasts.
• Monitor and evaluate capacity-building initiatives.
• Build relationships with collaborators across sectors and stakeholders.
• Support translation of research into policy and practice.
