Job summary

IMC is seeking a Tech-focused Campus Recruiter to shape technology graduate and intern recruitment across Australia and New Zealand. You'll build fluency in software engineering, ML and AI to stay ahead of skills needed in a fast-moving trading industry.

With dedicated events and marketing support, you can come from campus or experienced-hire backgrounds and will focus on transforming interview processes end to end.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of recruiting experience in fast-paced tech/finance/start-up environments.
• Proven track record entering new markets or rebuilding interview processes.
• Experience recruiting for technology roles with interest in software engineering, ML, and AI.
• Experience with forward-thinking talent practices and a high talent bar.
• Collaborative and influential, able to work with multiple stakeholders.
• Self-motivated with ability to set priorities and handle peak season travel.
• Willingness to travel during peak periods.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Campus Events Lead and Marketing to build IMC's technology campus recruitment strategy across Australia and New Zealand, alongside existing campus approach for Traders and Quant Researchers.
• Build trusted relationships with technology leadership internally, acting as their partner on graduate hiring and workforce planning, and helping the business anticipate the skills and profiles we'll need as it grows.
• Own end-to-end recruitment for technology graduate and intern positions - from initial engagement through assessment to offer - ensuring a swift process and outstanding candidate experience.
• Develop deep relationships across engineering and computer science faculties and student societies at target universities to build our reputation and showcase our culture.
• Use data to sharpen how we target, assess and convert talent, and test new channels to reach students we're not yet reaching.
• Collaborate globally and partner closely with the recruitment teams in Amsterdam and Chicago to share ideas and best practice.

Job description

We're looking for a Tech-focused Campus Recruiter to help define IMC's technology graduate and intern recruitment strategy across Australia and New Zealand. In this role you'll build deep fluency in software engineering, machine learning and AI, partnering with technology leadership to stay ahead of the skills we'll be hiring for next - and playing a critical part in sustaining our competitive edge in a fast-moving trading industry.

Because you'll have dedicated events and marketing support, we're open to candidates from either a campus or experienced-hire background. What matters more is your ability to build credibility with technology leadership and run a sharply targeted search. Unlike most traditional Campus roles, you will be focusing on areas like transforming our interview process end to end, or creating a faculty engagement strategy to hire the top 1% of talent.

Your Skills and Experience

• 5+ years of recruiting experience in a fast-paced and dynamic industry (technology, financial services, start-up, etc.)
• Has built at scale: a track record that could demonstrate entering a new market, rebuilding an interview process, a system implementation or creating a strategy from scratch.
• Experience recruiting for technology roles, with the appetite to build deeper expertise in software engineering, machine learning and AI.
• Experience working with organisations known for their forward-thinking talent practices and a high bar for talent.
• Collaboration: able to build strong working relationships and influence wider teams to deliver against multiple stakeholder requirements
• Strong self-motivation and the ability to set (and reset) priorities as they shift.
• Willingness to travel, and the resilience to handle an intense peak season.
