Job summary

Lead Group in Sydney is seeking a Senior Business Services Accountant to deliver accounting and taxation services to a select client base. You will support decision-making and mentor colleagues while advancing advisory skills in a collaborative boutique firm.

Key duties include preparing financial statements, BAS/IAS, completing payroll tax returns, and advising on tax planning. CA study support and structured training are offered to progress your professional qualifications.

Qualifications

• Relevant Business Services experience with strong technical and analytical skills.
• An accounting degree, CA completed or in progress.
• Sound knowledge of accounting standards, tax legislation and reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements and tax returns for individuals, companies, partnerships and trusts.
• Complete BAS/IAS, FBT and payroll tax returns.
• Use Xero, MYOB and QuickBooks to deliver accurate accounting services.
• Assist with tax planning and advise clients on financial and non-financial performance.
• Build client relationships and identify opportunities to provide additional services.
• Mentor colleagues and share technical knowledge across the team.
