Job summary

IT Alliance is seeking a Senior Business Analyst for a Federal Government client located across Canberra, Brisbane, Perth, Melbourne, Sydney and Adelaide. You will drive business analysis in an enterprise context, partnering with IT and business teams to deliver value.

The role requires solid SDLC experience, agile artefacts, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to use SQL, Excel and Power BI for analytical support.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading business analysis across the full SDLC.
• Experience producing business and technology-focused documentation.
• Experience with agile artefacts and DevOps-based delivery.
• Proficiency using SQL, Excel and Power BI for analysis.

Responsibilities

Job description

One of our Federal Government clients is looking for Senior Business Analysts in Canberra, Brisbane, Perth, Melbourne, Sydney and Adelaide.

We are looking for the following Skills/Experience:

• Demonstrated experience working in an enterprise-class environment with business and technology areas undertaking lead business analysis activities through the entire SDLC, including producing business-focused documentation and technology-focussed documentation.
• Demonstrated experience working in an agile delivery team developing artefacts such as business process maps, user stories, acceptance criteria, wireframes and/or prototypes using DevOps toolsets to manage and allocate work.
• Experience coordinating and leading consultation with internal and external stakeholders to elicit requirements and to share-back analysis and distillation of the requirements, and to coordinate user review and acceptance activities.
• Some experience using technologies such as SQL queries, MS Excel, and or Power BI for the purposes of lead business analysis.
