Job summary

Hydrogen Group is seeking a Senior Business Analyst with a strong background in digital advertising and advertising technology. The role spans Product, Data and Engineering to translate complex business and technical challenges into clear requirements and data-driven decisions.

You will lead discovery workshops, map end-to-end advertising workflows and define solutions for improved platform capabilities and efficiency. A deep understanding of ad tech ecosystems and SQL/APIs will be advantageous.

Qualifications

• Senior Business Analyst with direct experience in digital advertising, ad tech or programmatic environments.
• Experience with advertising platforms such as Google Ad Manager or comparable ad serving and campaign management solutions.
• Understanding of advertising campaign lifecycles, including setup, targeting, delivery, impressions and performance measurement.
• Experience documenting data requirements, business rules, reporting logic and system integrations within advertising environments.
• Strong process mapping, requirements elicitation and stakeholder workshop facilitation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery workshops with Product, Operations, Sales, Data and Engineering stakeholders.
• Map end-to-end advertising workflows from campaign setup to billing and reporting.
• Translate advertising and technical requirements into functional specs, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Define data requirements, business rules and KPI calculations across platforms.
• Analyze current advertising tech and data flows to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Architecture to document integration requirements and APIs.
• Support development and optimization of digital advertising capabilities with practical technical solutions.
• Explore AI/automation opportunities to improve advertising operations and analysis processes.
