Job summary

Attribute Group is seeking a highly organized Senior Business Analyst with a strong background in testing, analytics, or product to lead a nationally significant digital program. About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly organised Senior Business Analyst with a background in testing, analytics, or product to join a nationally significant digital program. The role closes a critical gap between requirements, testing and governance. You’ll own the flow from ticket to tested, approved, and compliant outcomes, and keep the testing teams, delivery teams, and approvers connected. If you’re an outstanding communicator who knows how to navigate project governance and release compliance gateways plus who to engage to get things done, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Write user stories, validate test cases, and manage them through review and approval
• Act as the central link between testing teams, engineers, product owners, and project leadership
• Define and uphold the definition of done, assess what can realistically be tested, and manage items back into the backlog
• Coordinate deliverables for governance and compliance milestones, including authority to operate, operational readiness, and authority to deploy
• Identify and engage the right SMEs to contribute to compliance and assurance artefacts (e.g. IRAP)
• Elicit and document technical responses, test approaches and supporting documentation

Essential Skills & Experience

• 5+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst, with a strong background in testing (manual or automation), analytics or software development
• Experience working closely with test leads and testing teams on technology delivery
• Solid understanding of project governance, release and compliance processes
• Exceptional organisational and communication skills, with the maturity to manage multiple stakeholder groups
• Ability to work independently, take ownership and absorb complex requirements quickly
• Australian Citizen with the ability to obtain Baseline security clearance

Desirable Experience

• Experience preparing for government gate reviews
• Exposure to IRAP, ISO or similar security and compliance frameworks
• Product or compliance experience within government
• Background in health, critical infrastructure or other highly regulated environments
• Familiarity with Jira, Azure DevOps, and Confluence
