Interface Agency Australia is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to help build a brand-new discovery function from the ground up in our Sydney office. You’ll shepherd ideas from initial concept through to delivery, challenge ambiguous requests, and provide early estimates of scope, cost and value to stakeholders.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst with a strong technical and digital orientation.
• Proven experience leading discovery: defining problems, shaping options and forming a clear recommendation.
• Confidence to challenge assumptions and push back on poorly defined requests, including with senior stakeholders.
• Experience assessing feasibility, dependencies and upstream/downstream impacts, and providing rough order of magnitude estimates for scope, effort, timing and cost.
• Comfortable building or contributing to business cases, including benefits, investment and regulatory or legal considerations.
• Exposure to AI initiatives, AI-enabled transformation or relevant training is viewed positively.

We’re working with a leading insurance organisation that is setting up a brand new discovery function and they’re looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to help build it from the ground up.

The team will be the front for new technology requests across the Consumer business. You’ll take ideas from the moment they land through to being ready for delivery, clarifying what the business is really asking for, challenging requests that aren’t well defined, assessing feasibility and impacts, and giving stakeholders a clear early view of the likely scope, cost and value before significant technology effort is committed.

What we’re looking for:

• 5+ years experience as a Business Analyst with a strong technical and digital orientation
• Proven experience leading discovery: defining problems, shaping options and forming a clear recommendation
• Confidence to challenge assumptions and push back on poorly defined requests, including with senior stakeholders
• Experience assessing feasibility, dependencies and upstream/downstream impacts, and providing rough order of magnitude estimates for scope, effort, timing and cost
• Comfortable building or contributing to business cases, including benefits, investment and regulatory or legal considerations
• A broad, enterprise-level mindset with the ability to work across multiple teams, systems and lines of business
• Highly autonomous and self-directed, someone who takes ownership of their workstream and drives it from start to finish
• General insurance experience is a plus, and Guidewire experience is a bonus
• Exposure to AI initiatives, AI-enabled transformation or relevant training is viewed positively
