Qualifications

• Experience in building surveying and compliance.
• Accreditation as Building Professional Level 1/2/3 is highly regarded.
• Ability to mentor and guide surveyors.
• Experience with complex legislative and regulatory environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice on complex building and compliance matters.
• Support enforcement activities and represent Council as required.
• Support operation of Building Fire Safety Committee.
• Mentor and guide building surveyors within the team.
• Help manage workloads and priorities; support reporting and policy development.
• Undertake commercial building inspections and Building Rules assessments.
• Collaborate with builders, developers, consultants and internal teams.
