Job summary

The Shire of Harvey invites applications for a Senior Building Surveyor to provide professional technical services on Building Codes, Local Laws, Standards and other statutory provisions to support the Directorate.

This permanent full‑time role is based at the Australind Building in the Bunbury region, with a salary of $99,635 to $113,680 per year, 12% superannuation, four weeks annual leave, and additional benefits including a vehicle, mobile phone and rostered day off.

Qualifications

• Experience with Building Codes and Local Laws.
• Knowledge of applicable WA standards and statutory provisions.
• Ability to interpret and apply statutory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional technical service to customers on building compliance.
• Interpret Building Codes, Local Laws and standards for Directorate.
• Support the Directorate to ensure effective performance and compliance.
