Job summary

Arup is seeking a Senior Controls Engineer to lead the design and delivery of building management and automation systems for data centres, healthcare and commercial projects in Australia. You will drive design consistency, integration with SCADA/EPMS, and client engagement through technical excellence.

You’ll mentor teams, contribute to proposals, and push energy-efficient control strategies while shaping Arup’s intelligent building ambitions in Sydney and beyond.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher degree in a relevant engineering field.
• Chartered engineer status or actively working towards it.
• Proven experience delivering BMS/SCADA/EPMS and HVAC control designs across sectors.

Responsibilities

• Designing BMS/building controls systems to optimize building performance across commercial, industrial and data centre environments.
• Ensuring seamless integration of BMS, SCADA/EPMS, and HVAC into overall building design.
