Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a Controls Engineer for its APAC CDS team in Melbourne to deploy and maintain data center automation systems, including BMS and EPMS, across global facilities.

You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, manage vendor relationships, and contribute to control system design, testing, and incident response while supporting on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a data center or critical environment.
• 2+ years of vendor management experience.
• Fluent in English (speaking, writing, reading).
• Experience in full lifecycle deployment and maintenance of Industrial automation systems (PLC, SCADA, BMS, EPMS, DCS, HMIs).

Responsibilities

• Deployment of data center controls and projects on time with vendor coordination.
• Deliver upgrades to data center automation and support partner teams.
• Diagnose and resolve issues impacting data center operations (LOV, LOR, LSE, CSE).
• Review controls sequences and provide feedback on design and drawings.
• Develop BOMs, control logic, and GUI for automation systems.
