Job summary

Aurecon is seeking a Senior or Intermediate Bridge Engineer to join the Bridges & Civil Structures team in Sydney or Newcastle. You will lead the analysis, design and assessment of bridges and civil structures, collaborating with engineers, modellers and other disciplines on large-scale transport projects across NSW, ACT and Australia.

The role offers flexibility with part-time arrangements and a pathway to mentor less experienced engineers, contributing to Aurecon's culture of safety,

Qualifications

• Experience in structural design and analysis of bridges and civil structures.
• Familiarity with Australian bridge/structural design standards and best practices.
• Experience in multi-disciplinary collaboration and mentorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural analysis, design and assessment of bridges and civil structures from concept to construction.
• Develop practical engineering solutions prioritising safety, sustainability and durability.
• Own design packages and deliverables from calculations to reports.
• Identify technical risks early and coordinate with project leads to resolve them.
• Collaborate with engineers, modellers and other disciplines to deliver integrated designs.
