Job summary

Paxus is seeking a Senior Domain Architect – Brand & Marketing to define and drive the technology landscape across Australia & New Zealand. Based in Sydney, you will lead from the intersection of business strategy, technology architecture and marketing transformation, with focus on Adobe/MARTECH ecosystems and Generative AI adoption.

You will influence major technology decisions, collaborate with senior executives, and shape target architectures across a complex enterprise.

Responsibilities

• Own and shape the Brand & Marketing technology architecture strategy and roadmap.
• Translate business strategy and marketing objectives into target‑state architecture, technology strategies and investment priorities.
• Act as the design authority for the Brand & Marketing technology estate.
• Lead architecture reviews and technology assessments across the marketing ecosystem.
• Develop detailed solution designs, technical options and architectural recommendations.
• Shape the integration of marketing platforms, content and digital asset management systems, customer data and activation channels.
• Define architecture patterns, standards, guardrails and reference architectures.
• Partner with Enterprise Architecture, Engineering, Data, Integration, Security and other technology domains.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, reliable, sustainable and fit for purpose.
• Govern vendor and systems integrator solution designs.
• Identify and mitigate architectural, security, privacy and compliance risks.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend opportunities for modernisation and optimisation.
• Shape the application of Generative AI within creative and content workflows, including governance, IP, rights management and brand safety.
• Present recommendations and influence decisions with senior executives, technology leaders and business stakeholders.
• Mentor and guide architects, engineers and multidisciplinary technology teams
