Job summary

Richard Lloyd Recruitment – Sydney Western Suburbs NSW is seeking a Senior Bookkeeper to take ownership of the accounting function for a wholesale industrial product supplier. Pronto system experience is highly regarded and will be an asset in managing the full transactional cycle.

The role includes Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, end-to-end Payroll for about 20 staff, and month-end reporting in a fast-paced SME setting. A collaborative, detail-oriented approach is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Bookkeeper or Company Accountant role.
• Experience working in an SME.
• Pronto experience will be highly regarded.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Accounts Receivable: cash receipting and allocation, collections and follow-up of outstanding accounts.
• Month-end AR tasks including reconciliations and issuing statements.
• Accounts Payable processing including PO invoices and matching (including stock received).
• End to end Payroll processing for roughly 20 staff.
• Managing a high-volume shared inbox workflow (100+ emails/week).
• Weekly maintenance activities such as updating currency rates.
• Month-end reporting.

The Role

This Senior Bookkeeper position will take ownership of key transactional finance processes. Duties include but not limited to:

• Accounts Receivable: cash receipting and allocation, collections and follow-up of outstanding accounts
• Month-end AR tasks including reconciliations and issuing statements
• Accounts Payable processing including PO invoices and matching (including stock received)
